Description
Re-purpose fabric to create rugs using a braided-in technique. This simple method of making a braided rug results in a washable, strong rug. Unlike the traditional method of rug braiding, this braiding technique eliminates the additional step of sewing together the finished braid to complete the rug. Students will be able to complete a small rug or get a good start on a larger project.
Note: You will need to bring 2 cotton sheets (preferably recycled), a scissors, a heavy object (for anchoring your project), and a 9mm M-13 crochet hook.
Optional Fee: $15 for hand carved hooks, available for purchase at class.
